Fees & burns
Every fee the game takes, and where it goes.
Every coin that moves in the game goes through one ledger with a reason attached, so the game knows exactly how much gold its fees take. That total is what the burn is built on.
Fees the game takes
These are house fees: the gold leaves the economy rather than going to another master.
| Fee | Size | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Pit house cut | 5% of every purse (10g / 25g / 50g per match) | live |
| Crack Legs Jimmy's stall | 150-220g per slave | live |
| Barn slave market | 21-225g per slave, by class | live |
| John The Cracker (buying) | Full price of everything he sells | live |
| Clan war declaration | 500g | live |
| Training Post boost | 1000g per 24 hours | live |
| Unclaimed death drops | Gold nobody loots within 5 minutes | live |
| Exchange spread | At least 10% between buy and sell | live |
Trades between masters (auctions, the item board and the trade window) carry no fee: that gold changes hands, it doesn't leave.
From fees to burns
Planned for TGE
- The game totals the gold taken by house fees over each period.
- That gold is valued in $SLVE at the exchange's mid price.
- That much $SLVE is bought back and burned, permanently removing it from supply.
- The $SLVE the exchange spread earns is burned too.
- Each burn is published so anyone can check it against the fee totals.
The result: burns scale with activity. More masters, more Pit matches, more slaves bought, the more $SLVE is burned.
