Quick start

Your first ten minutes on the shore.

  1. Pick a name and follow the short tutorial. It hands you a Lemon, some cotton, bandaids and seeds.
  2. Craft an axe (C, 5 wood; punch a tree for your first wood) and fell trees for more.
  3. Lay a patch (B) and plant your seeds with E. Potatoes feed best.
  4. Buy a second slave at the barn or from Crack Legs Jimmy. You start with 500g.
  5. Build a house and stock it with food so your slaves feed themselves.
  6. Assign workers to a woodcutter or quarry, and keep the rest following you.
  7. When you're ready: chase runaways in the deadzone, or take a squad to the Pit.
Note
New masters are shielded from PvP for their first 30 minutes. Use it to set up.
Careful
Hungry slaves stop working, and a slave left at zero hunger dies within a day. Feed first.
