Getting Started

First steps

1. Pick a name and follow the tutorial. It hands you a Lemon, some Cotton, bandaids and seeds.
2. Get wood. Punch a Tree with Q for your first few logs, then craft a Wood Axe (C, 5 wood) and fell trees properly.
3. Lay a patch with B (5 wood per cell) and plant your seeds with E. See Farming.
4. Buy a second slave at the Barn Market or from Crack Legs Jimmy.
5. Build a House and stock it with food so your slaves feed themselves.
6. Assign workers to a Woodcutter's Hut or Quarry, and keep the rest following you.
7. When you are ready, chase Runaways in The Deadzone, or take a squad to The Pit.
