Spilled coin
Combat
Outside the deadzone you can hit your own slaves and that's it. Inside the deadzone, anyone is fair game. Here's the mechanics.
Where you can fight
- Anywhere — slap your own slaves. Builds Rage. Free.
- Deadzone (red ground) — full PvP. Hit players, hit their slaves, hit wild slaves.
- Clan war — once your clan declares war, you can fight opposing clan members anywhere on the map.
Weapons
What you swing with sets your damage:
- Axe — 12 dmg. Best general weapon.
- Pickaxe — 10 dmg.
- Fists — 4 dmg fallback when you've got nothing equipped.
Swing cooldown is 700 ms. Bind your weapon to the action bar for fast switching.
Rage
The orange bar. You gain 2 rage every time you hit one of your own slaves. Every point of rage adds 9% damage to your next outgoing swing — a maxed rage stack is 10× damage (a 4-damage punch turns into 40). Rage drains at 1.8/sec out of combat, so you can't hoard it.
Translation: cruel masters hit much harder than careful ones. It's intended. Be a careful master who knows when to lose it.
Armor
Each iron plate piece reduces incoming damage by 20%, multiplied together. Helmet alone: take 80% damage. Helmet + chest: 64%. Full set: about 51%.
Armor is forged at the Blacksmith. See Crafting.
Slaves in a fight
If you get hit while you're standing with your followers, your unassigned (non-working) slaves jump in and fight back. Their first target is the nearest enemy slave; only once the enemy crew is down do they go for the master. That makes brawls play like a melee, not a dogpile.
Workers stay on the job — they don't get drafted.
Dying
At 0 HP you drop everything on you — coins, resources, seeds, produce, and every armor piece you were wearing. Slaves you owned flee out of the deadzone and shamble until you respawn. Respawn timer is 10 seconds. Your dropped loot lingers ~5 minutes; anyone can walk over it to pick it up.
